Julia Margo of Fair Hearing wins at Criminal Justice Alliance Awards

It was amazing to see one of our grantees win big at the Criminal Justice Alliance Awards. Julia Margo, co-founder of Fair Hearing won in the Lived Experience - Outstanding Individual category.

This award recognises someone using their personal history and lived experience to drive meaningful change in the criminal justice system.

Julia has transformed her personal trauma into extraordinary advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. She has mentored over 100 victims, trained 300 members of the judiciary and secured significant national policy change.
