Two Magpies Fund attends Amnesty Feminist Network and Make It Mandatory parliamentary event to take RSE to age of 18

Last week Two Magpies Fund attended a parliamentary event supporting the extension of mandatory RSE to the age of 18. (It’s currently only 16!)

It’s ridiculous that just at the age when young people need guidance the most, we withdraw lessons on how to navigate sex and relationships healthily.

A small amendment could make a big difference to rates of relationship abuse and STIs in the UK.

Well done to Make It Mandatory and Amnesty Feminist Network for championing this cause!

It was great to see such a packed room. Let’s hope the right policymakers were listening!
