Two Magpies to fund Doorstep Library again in 2023

Doorstep Library is a grassroots literacy outreach charity sending volunteers to read with over 600 children in select locations across Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham, Lambeth and Camden. It's a simple idea, beautifully executed!

Children from disadvantaged areas are less likely to have books, read with their parents and read for pleasure. All of which makes them more likely to fall behind in their studies.

Doorstep Library is doing their bit to equip children with the essential literacy skills, love of reading, motivation and confidence to thrive at school and in their future careers. And we are so proud to be funding them again this year.
